BG Scrap Metals is run by the latest recycling software which makes for efficient handling, grading and weighing of products so all customers can be assured of a professional service with high levels of consistency. BG Scrap Metals has a complete workshop onsite with 3 professional mechanics ensuring that our fleet runs expertly.

Plant, Equipment & Transport

• Analysis equipment include:”Radio active detector” as well as an “Innov-X analyzer”
• 60 tone SABS approved weighbridge on site as well as 3 smaller electronic scales. All our scales are regularly calibrated and serviced.
• We also process sub-grade with a 500 ton sheer and an additional 2 croppers.
• We have a fleet of grab trucks operating solely in the dismantling and collection of scrap from business in safe and environmentally friendly way
• Our fleet of bin trucks place and collect skip bins to effectively manage scrap metal waste on your site resourcefully
